Re: Non-Flat Surface and Bed Auto Leveling
Roxy, I'm just getting back to trying UBL after some diversions. I got the latest from github and have built with the latest Arduino IDE 1.6.12. Just wanted to let you know there is a new warning that...

Thanks! That warning should be OK to ignore. But I'll get that cleaned up.
View ArticleUpdating controller firmware problem - Marlin
I have tried to calibrate my printer again but after uploading firmware it doesn't remember changes, it is still like before, everytime I change settings in marlin firmware nothing changes after...

You need to do a M502 to load the settings from the Configuration.h file. And then you need to do a M500 to store them in EEPROM.
View ArticleRe: can't read all gcode lines or what?
it's working now, i messed with gcode generator a bit but output is still looks same, still don't know what was the problem.
View ArticleRe: Self made delta printer homing problem
you may defined z height to high. C probably trying to go home position.
View ArticleRe: Updating controller firmware problem - Marlin
And how to do that with arduino software? Arduino_1.0_IDE,_Ubuntu_11.10.png
View ArticleRe: Updating controller firmware problem - Marlin
You dont Those are gcodes you send to your printer to reset the eeprom to the settings in your firmware
View ArticleRe: Updating controller firmware problem - Marlin
I have 2 of this printers and never needed to do that before
View ArticleRe: Updating controller firmware problem - Marlin
depending on your electronics some are setup so that when you upload new firmware the eeprom is also cleared. (google arduino fuses ) Or you can disable the eeprom features in firmware so its never...
View ArticleRe: Self made delta printer homing problem
thank you for your response. but it happens when I want to home for the first time.
View ArticleRe: Self made delta printer homing problem
i got it. it happened to me also. the line is this one: #define MANUAL_Z_HOME_POS i was messing a lot that time but i believe this is the one which solve that problem.
View ArticleMarlin introduces backlash and skipped steps?
There is a possibility that Marlin introduces backlash and skipped steps. Because my printed parts suffer from backlash (oval circles) and ripples (skipped steps which catch up later) I investigated...
View ArticleRe: Marlin introduces backlash and skipped steps?
"The motor does not rotate for each 5 steps and catches up at the 6th step" welcome to microstepping, this is how it really works. (though the numbers look odd) People presume that since they have...
View ArticleRe: Marlin introduces backlash and skipped steps?
and if your lucky 1/8th steps Dust is correct! However... if you are moving at a somewhat steady speed, the micro stepping really does help to keep the speed constant. It just sucks when you are...
View ArticleRe: Marlin introduces backlash and skipped steps?
Thanks for your reply. The strange thing is: Steps are not skipped if I operate the drivers manually via the STP pin on the drivers. All the 16 microsteps work quite well: No steps are skipped, they...
View ArticleWrong origin after autobed leveling
Hello! I always used a sensor in the back-left from the nozzle (negative offset for X_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER and Y_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER) and all worked fine, now I change the sensor mount...
View ArticleRe: Wrong origin after autobed leveling
Sound like you didn't change the probe positions. If it hits an endstop during probing, the 0 for that axis shifts.
View ArticleRe: Wrong origin after autobed leveling
Just checked: the probing points (where the probe does the scan) are as expected (as I set in marlin configuration) and no ones pull the mechanical end stops, do you know if there is something about...
