Is S_CURVE_ACCELERATION possible on a 8bit board (Melzi Creality) or 32bit only?

S_CURVE_ACCELERATION in Marlin 2.0.
Is it possible to use this even with a Melzi Creality Board, with 8 bit CPU?
Or is it only possible to use it on a 32bit board?
